Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Certified Auto Service at (561) 394-4044; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Boca Raton is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Boca Raton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. I LOVE Certified Auto Service 😍 I have known Gene, the owner, for many years. My brother introduced me to the shop and I trust them with all of my car needs. I take my Honda for regular oil changes, as I did my last Honda, and I've had brakes done, steering column parts replaced, shocks, tires, AC, etc. You name it, they have done it because I keep my cars for at least 10 years. Once I ran over a big Semi-truck tire on I-95 bc I was boxed in & couldn't get around it. I immediately called Gene and he told me to come straight over to the shop so he could check for any damage. I appreciate his kindness. I Never have any problems, Thanks to Gene and everyone at Certified Auto 🤓

My mechanic told me he was closing his business and then I needed to find another mechanic. I have a classic Jaguar and have been dealing with the Jaguar Doctor Who was phenomenal and I would recommend it to anybody with a 2008 or older Jaguar. I asked him to recommend someone to work on my other car and recommended Certified. I was pleasantly surprised with how professional they were, how reasonable they were And all around pleasure to deal with. They are certainly my go to for any of my car needs. It's always a pleasure to meet someone who is honest and not trying to squeeze every dollar out of you. I never got to meet Gene, but his son Matt was an absolute pleasure. Called me when he said he would, Car was ready when they said it was going to be, and the price was better than I expected. Couldn't recommend them any higher.

My family has been going to see Gene for over 15 years. He runs an honest business with fair prices and incredible service. We used to shop around for pricing and he was always the best. Recently we brought in our sons truck and when it turned into a transmission issue, he helped get the truck to the transmission specialist down the road. A+ Service.

Took my 4runner to Certified for Jean and his guys to install a lift and new tires on. Jean and his employees are all honest people who do awesome work for a more than fair price. I would absolutely recommend certified auto to anyone in the area needing work done on their vehicles!

An honest business doing honest work 5TARS Gene and the team took very good care of my car. Their services are excellent, prices are more decent than a dealership... REAL affordable! Two of the dealerships near by and a few other larger shops told me it would be costly and they had to replace big items on my car but Certified Auto Services looked at the car in depth and an 02 Sensor would be the fix. My car is now fixed for a fraction of the cost. I would and have recommended Certified Auto Services to others. I like honest people!
